Tunnel Closure NOTICE:
Wednesday, October 8th, 12:00pm - 2:00pm
The Whittier Access Tunnel will be closed on October 8th from 12 pm to 2 pm for fire training. This will be a joint training with the Alaska Railroad to make the best use of the time. Historically this is the slowest period of the day.
School Bus Toll Change Effective October 1st, 2024
In order to comply with the provisions of 23 USC 129, school buses will now be required to pay the Class C, $137.00 toll. DOT will offer a rebate back to the $11.00 Class G rate at the toll booth. Thank you for your understanding. Please feel free to contact the Facilities Manager using the contact information below for further information.
YODEL Ticket Purchasing Portal
Purchase toll tickets online: All tickets are roundtrip tickets. Single tickets and Seasonal passes are available. Availability depends on the vehicle class. Seasonal: Winter (October 1 to April 30) and Summer (May 1 to September 30) are available for Class A and Class B1 vehicles. They can be purchased for one driver using multiple vehicles of the appropriate class or for one vehicle of the appropriate class for multiple drivers.
